Judy Virginia Wells Vandiver
On November 26th, 2019, JUDY VIRGINIA WELLS VANDIVER was surrounded by her family in Cumming, GA when she went home to be with our Heavenly Father at the age of 75. She was a member of the Little Rock Central Tigers Class of 1962. Born and raised in Arkansas most of her life, Judy moved to the Atlanta area in 1995. She was best known for being a great mom, grandmother, and friend to many (as well as for her infamous cooking ie: chocolate cake and cinnamon rolls).
She was preceded in death by her son, Chuck Langhammer, her mother, Martha Mae Wells, and father, Charles Wells. She is survived by her childrens and grandchildren. Her oldest son Butch Langhammer and her only daughter and son-in-law, Dinah and Steve Bagley. Grandchildren: Rebecca Lombard, Stormey Langhammer, Liz Robbins, Logan Langhammer, Ryley Lombard, Sean Lombard, and Halle Bagley.
The memorial for Judy will be held January 18, 11 a.m at Camp Mitchell outdoor Chapel.

Class of 1962
MELVIN DAVID STRINGER, age 76, of Russellville, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Baptist Medical Center. He was born January 13, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late James Stringer and Margie Faye Stringer. Melvin was a local businessman and owner of H&R Block in Pope County for approximately 25 years. He was a member of the Little Rock Central High School class of 19062.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he was the co-founder of Dream Catchers, a nonprofit which provided hunting access to disabled individuals. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jason Stringer, and a granddaughter, Stephanie Tucker.
Survivors include his loved one, Zona Wells; two children, David Stringer and Aletha White; one brother, Jim Stringer; five grandchildren, Michael Stringer, Ryan Ford, Regan Lauckner, Jacob Stringer, Gabrielle Stringer; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2 p.m., Friday, March 13, 2020, at the First Assembly of God Church in Russellville. Johnny Minick officiated. Visitation was Friday, 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church before the service. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville.
Pallbearers were Jacob Stringer, Michael Stringer, Cameron Lauckner, Ryan Ford, Tim Ritter and Matthew Stringer.
